Track & Trace Registers - Contactless Check-in

As part of the Stage 3 restrictions easing, it is still a mandated government requirement that all clubs must keep contact tracing registers for a period of 5 weeks.

Football Queensland has introduced and has strongly encouraged ALL clubs to use the contactless EVA check-in process at their venues.  You will need to register at every club you attend via a club specific QR code. You will need to remember to checkout upon departure.

The EVA Check-in process is so simple and can be used either via your phones camera to scan the club specific QR code, this is ok for individuals;  Or if you have multiple family members attending the app works much better as you can check-in multiple people quickly and easily.  Once you have downloaded the app you can set up each user in your profile section, click on the 2 person silhouette to access your profile.

Please click on the below links for instructions on whichever method you would prefer to use:

EVA Check-in App Guide for multiple users - the App can be downloaded via the Apple store or google play.

EVA Check-in Guide for individual use - no app needed best for individual users

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I check in/register my attendance if I don’t have a smartphone?

Queensland clubs have been advised to access Football Queensland’s Record of Attendance template, which is available to download via the Return to Play Hub on the FQ website (footballqueensland.com.au).

This form can be used to record details of attendees if they don’t have a smartphone or if the QR code for check-in is not in operation. Please contact your club if you have any further questions on this.

Who is required to check in and out of a football club/venue?

Anyone who attends a venue or club is required to check in and out on arrival and departure as per the Return to Play guidelines and Queensland Government requirements. This includes all participants, club staff/volunteers, parents, spectators etc.

A record of attendance must be kept for all attendances at a venue e.g. for training sessions, matches, meetings etc.

How do I do a group check-in e.g. if a family has only one phone but needs to check in multiple children?

Group check-ins from the one phone are available via the EVA Check-in app which you can download via the App Store. The EVA Check-in app for Android is currently experiencing issues and is unavailable to download.

What if our club already has a system in place for tracking attendance?

All clubs are encouraged to use the EVA check-in QR code technology as supplied by Football Queensland to track attendance at their venue to ensure the tracing information can be securely stored in one central location.

Clubs may still use another form of attendance tracking if they wish to, however all clubs are required to have a record of attendance process in place.

Where will my data be stored?

Check-in data is encrypted and stored on each person’s device. Once someone checks in, the data is sent via an encrypted channel into Microsoft’s Azure data centre in Australia. Clubs, zones and Football Queensland will only use this data if it is needed to communicate with health authorities.

Do I have to fill out the form each time I scan a QR code?

You will be required to fill out a form with your details when you first scan a QR code. EVA Check-in will remember your details the next time you scan a QR code.

STAGE 3 - COVID Safety Plan for Brighton Bulldogs

The club has recently updated our COVID safety plan for our return to Stage 3 restrictions.  This updated plan includes games, training and the re-opening of the canteen during games. The Stage 3 plan has been updated to ensure we are meeting the requirements mandated by the Queensland Government and our governing body Football Queensland.

The continuing help of our members is instrumental in the club being able to keep our players, coaches, volunteers and staff safe whilst meeting the mandated Government requirements. Please continue to follow the guidelines we have listed below.
